Backstory:
Formed in a small basement in the heart of Brooklyn in 2010, Hairy Cat is an Indie band comprised of four childhood friends – lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Alex, lead guitarist Danny, bassist Simon, and drummer Maddie. Born out of their shared passion for offbeat melodies and unconventional lyrics, Hairy Cat is the result of endless jamming sessions, fueled by cheap pizza and dreams of making it big. For years, the group worked tirelessly, playing for small crowds in local gigs before their breakthrough in 2015. After their song “Midnight Monologue” went viral on YouTube, they’ve been on the rise, creating a distinctive sound that resonates with thousands of fans across the globe.
