Backstory:
Half Aunt was formed in a small town just outside of Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 2013. The band was founded by siblings, Caleb and Abigail Robinson, who were inspired to pursue music by their half aunt, a woman who was half singer, half poet, and all soul. She would strum her guitar at family gatherings and tell stories of love and life through her songs, captivating the young duo with her depth and musicality. Combining Caleb’s guitar riffs and Abigail’s poignant lyrics, Half Aunt was born, carrying on their love for music and their family’s unique story.

Fan Testimonial:
My name is Elise and I’m not just a fan, I am a fervent follower of Half Aunt. Their music is raw, authentic, and painfully relatable. They don’t just create music, they craft stories, each song a new chapter of emotions and experiences. “Halfway to My Heart” isn’t just a song, it’s my life encapsulated in a beautiful melody. Abigail’s voice, so honest and pure, combined with Caleb’s guitar, mirrors my heartache and longing. Half Aunt is not just my favorite band, they’re my solace, my catharsis, and my best kept secret. They’ve touched my heart in a way no other band has, and for that, they’ll always be at the top of my list.
