Backstory:

Half Fig emerged from the vibrant music scene of a small, coastal town of New Brighton in the year 2012. The band comprises of four members; Jamie “Jam” Powell on the lead guitar and vocals, Stella “Star” Brown on the drums, Tommy “Tom-Tom” Grant on bass, and Noah “Keys” Jones on the keyboard. The four childhood friends spent their summers jamming in a garage, creating melodies that resonated with their shared experiences and dreams. Their love for music and the connection they felt with each other was so strong that they decided to form a band and share their music with the world.

The band’s name, Half Fig, symbolizes the sweet yet complex nature of their lives and music. They find inspiration in their daily experiences, relationships, and the picturesque landscapes of their hometown.
