Backstory:
The band ‘Handsome Youngster’ was formed in a small, picturesque town of Asheville, North Carolina in 2011. The band consists of childhood friends Tommy Hynes, on vocals and rhythm guitar, and Jake Miller, on lead guitar, who were later joined by Kirsten Dow on bass and Ray Smith on drums. The quartet spent their formative years honing their music skills in their parents’ garages, inspired by the vibrant music culture of their hometown. Their unique blend of music, which they describe as β€œan audacious mix of our life experiences, told through a melody,” quickly gained traction, and they have been winning hearts with their captivating performances ever since.
