“Neon Dreams”
Full song lyrics:
[Verse]
C G Am F
Walking down on the boulevard,
C G F
With a pocket full of faded stars,
C G Am F
I saw her dancing in the neon lights,
C G F
A rock ‘n’ roll queen ruling the night.
[Chorus]
C G Am F
She’s got those Neon Dreams,
C G F
In her eyes, it brightly gleams,
C G Am F
She’s the ruler of the Hard Street scene,
C G F
Living fast, in her Neon Dreams.
[Verse]
C G Am F
She dances with the devil in the pale moonlight,
C G F
A rebel soul in the shadows of the night,
C G Am F
In her eyes, there’s a wild desire,
C G F
Burning brighter than the city’s fire.
[Chorus]
C G Am F
She’s got those Neon Dreams,
C G F
In her eyes, it brightly gleams,
C G Am F
She’s the ruler of the Hard Street scene,
C G F
Living fast, in her Neon Dreams.
Band’s Favorite Fan:
Our favorite fan has to be Billy “Bassman” Baxter, a dedicated follower since our early garage days. Billy has been with us every step of the way, from our first poorly attended gig at a local dive bar to sold-out shows at famous venues. In his own words:
“As a fan, Hard Street hits you where it matters most – in the heart and soul. Their music is raw, unfiltered, and speaks to the emotions we all feel but can’t express. ‘Neon Dreams’ is my personal favorite. It’s a rock ‘n’ roll symphony that captures the spirit of the streets, the beauty of dreams, and the journey of life. I can’t imagine a world without their music. For me, they’re not just a band; they’re a lifestyle.”
