Backstory:
Formed in the misty mountains of Asheville, North Carolina, in 2011, Haunting Galley is an instinctive reaction to the monotony of the mainstream music scene. Founding members, Oliver “Ollie” Manning, a folk singer with a penchant for eerie tales, and Phoebe “Phoenix” Lovell, a violinist with a background in classical music, found a unique space where their eclectic interests intersected. The band was later joined by drummer Alex “Hawk” Hawkins and bassist, Sam “Sparrow” Parkins, who added a level of sonic depth and rhythm to the music that was organic and immersive. Together, they create the hauntingly beautiful sounds that have become their trademark.
