Backstory:
Healthy Air was formed in the bustling music scene of Brooklyn, New York, in 2014. It all began when childhood friends Vivian Reid (lead singer and acoustic guitar) and Max Turner (bass guitar and back up vocals) started jamming in their small apartment, writing songs that reflected their shared love for nature and their concerns about the environment. They were later joined by the versatile drummer, Peter Rhodes, who brought in an eclectic mix of rhythms and beats that complemented their music perfectly. The band, now a trio, named themselves ‘Healthy Air’ to reflect their passion for preserving the earth’s environment and their commitment to creating music that breathes life into their listeners’ souls.
Genre:
Healthy Air’s music is a unique blend of indie folk and eco-pop, characterized by soulful melodies, poignant lyrics, and a rich tapestry of acoustic sounds.

Favorite Fan’s Name: Sarah Johnson
Sarah Johnson has been an admirer and ardent follower of Healthy Air since their very first gig in a small Brooklyn cafe. She says, “Their music carries a message that is so relevant today. It’s not just about the melodies, it’s about the powerful lyrics and their commitment to a cause I deeply care about. It’s rare to find music that touches your heart and, at the same time, makes you think about the world around you. Healthy Air does that, and for me, that’s what makes them stand out.”
