Backstory:
High Lizard is formed by the dynamic duo of childhood friends, Jeremy “Jem” Baxter and Thomas “Tommy” Noble. They started out in the small town of Crestview, Florida, where they spent their adolescent years experimenting with rock covers and writing original songs in Jem’s garage. The band’s name, inspired by their mutual fascination with reptiles and high energy music, came about in a frenzy of laughter on a late-night jamming session. After winning the local ‘Battle of the Bands’ contest, they decided to take their passion to the next level and pursue a career in music.
They moved to Los Angeles, where they struggled initially to find their footing. However, their unique sound and relentless determination caught the attention of a local producer who gave them a chance. Their debut album was a hit, establishing them as a significant force in the music industry. Since then, High Lizard has released four successful albums and continues to captivate audiences with their high-octane performances and meaningful lyrics.

High Lizard’s favourite fan is Chelsea Green, a radiologist from Austin, Texas. She’s been following High Lizard since their initial struggle days in LA. She discovered them performing on the streets and instantly fell in love with their sound. Chelsea has attended every concert in Austin and even follows them around on their tours across the country.
