Backstory:
Honest Servant is a band whose origin dates back to 2010, when four friends from a small town in Ohio decided to weave together their musical talents. The quartet, consisting of lead vocalist and guitarist, Eric Baker, drummer Matt Anderson, bassist Jake Stevens, and keyboard player, Ronnie Wilson, were initially just a group of buddies jamming in their garages. However, their shared love for music and their unique chemistry led them to create Honest Servant. The name of the band, inspired by a phrase they stumbled upon in an old poetry book, reflects their humble beginnings and their dedication to the art of music.
The band’s journey began with local performances at bars and festivals, gradually gaining momentum, and evolving their sound. Their big break came in 2015 when they won a national “battle of the bands” competition, placing them firmly on the music map. Since then, Honest Servant has been serving their fans with soulful music, unfiltered emotions, and a connection that is hard to find in the world of commercial music.

“Through the Seasons”
Full Song Lyrics:
[Intro]
C G Am F
[Verse 1]
(C) I’ve seen the winter (G) in your eyes,
(Am) Felt the chill (F) in your goodbyes,
(C) But every winter (G) ends with spring,
And through the (Am) seasons (F) we will sing.
[Chorus]
(G) Through the seasons, (F) through the change,
(C) We’ll hold on (G) to love’s sweet refrain,
(G) Through the highs, (F) through the lows,
(C) Like a river, (G) our love flows.
[Verse 2]
(C) In the heat of (G) summer days,
(Am) In our laughter, (F) in our plays,
(C) We find the strength (G) to face the fall,
And through the (Am) seasons (F) we stand tall.
[Chorus]
(G) Through the seasons, (F) through the years,
(C) We’ll wipe away (G) each other’s tears,
(G) Through the joy, (F) through the pain,
(C) In all seasons, (G) love remains.
[A repeat of Verses and Chorus, ending with the Chorus]

Testimonial:
Being a fan of Honest Servant is like being part of a family. Their music resonates with all aspects of life, the highs, the lows, and everything in between. It’s been the soundtrack to my life for the past five years, accompanying me through life’s ups and downs. The band’s humility and authenticity shine through their songs, making me feel seen and heard. I remember a moment during one of their concerts when Eric, the lead vocalist, noticed me crying during their performance of ‘Through the Seasons.’ After the show, he approached me, thanked me for being there, and gave me a band t-shirt. That moment made me feel special and connected to the band on a deeper level. Honest Servant is not just a band to me, it’s a beacon of comfort, a source of strength, and above all, an honest friend.
