Backstory:
Honored Import is a distinctive musical group that formed in the bustling city of Seattle in 2013. The band was an unexpected blend of four internationally diverse music enthusiasts – a Canadian drummer, a British vocalist, an Australian guitarist, and a Japanese bassist. The quartet met in a shared music appreciation class in college, where they quickly realized their shared passion for creating unique sounds and started jamming. After hours and hours of late-night jam sessions, the result was an inimitable blend of their respective cultural influences with a unique flair that was entirely their own. They chose the name ‘Honored Import’ as a nod to their diverse origins and the respect they held for their diverse musical influences.

Genre:
Their music can best be described as a fusion of Indie Rock with a touch of World Music influences, blending in elements of reggae, rock, and pop that transcend borders and cultures.
