Backstory:
Humble Pole emerged from the eclectic music scene of Seattle, Washington in the late 2000s. The band comprises four members, Harry “Harp” Peterson on lead vocals and guitar, fellow guitarist Billy “Blues” Booker, bassist Ethan “Echo” Edwards and drummer Danny “Drums” Devin. Harp and Blues, childhood friends, formed the band initially as a college pastime, but after teaming up with Echo and Drums, they realized their shared musical affinity was nothing to be taken lightly. They began to perform at local venues, gaining traction with their unique sound and raw, emotional lyrics. Their reputation grew, leading them to sign with a local indie record label, and the rest, as they say, is history.

Title:
“Dusk ‘Til Dawn”
Full Song Lyrics:
(Verse 1)
Em G
Under the glow of the city lights,
D A
We found a home in the midst of fights,
Em G
Your voice, like whiskey, soothing my soul,
D A
Gently nudging me towards the humble pole.
(Chorus)
C D
From dusk till dawn, we sang our song,
G Em
Of love and loss, and journeying on.
C D
Through highs and lows, we made our way,
G Em
In the twilight’s haze, we chose to stay.
(Verse 2)
Em G
The rhythm of the city, beating like a heart,
D A
We danced with the shadows, made our art.
Em G
In the silence of the night, we found our role,
D A
Guided by the stars, towards the humble pole.
(Repeat Chorus)
Fan’s Testimonial:
“I’m Samantha, but my friends call me Sam. I’ve been a diehard fan of Humble Pole since their early days. Their music speaks to me on a level that no other band has before. It’s raw, it’s grungy, it’s honest. It’s like a soundtrack to my life. My favorite track has to be ‘Dusk ‘Til Dawn’. There’s just something about the way Harp’s voice weaves with the music that makes my heart ache in the best possible way. For those in search of some real, heart-tugging rock n’ roll, Humble Pole is the band to watch.”
