Backstory:

Hurtful Conversion is a band born out of small-town dreams and painful life experiences. The band was formed in the quaint town of Mansfield, Ohio, in 2011, by high school friends Jasper Mulligan, Leon Grady, Derek Collins, and Hans Cooper. They were all united by their shared passion for music and their individual experiences with heartache, loss, and personal transformation. Over the years, they used music as an emotional outlet, creating a unique soundscape that resonates with listeners who have been through similar trials. The band’s name, Hurtful Conversion, reflects their belief that pain often serves as a catalyst for change and growth, a feeling they try to communicate through their music.
