Icy Count

Backstory:

“Icy Count” was created in the chilled winters of Anchorage, Alaska in 2010. The band comprises of five passionate musicians who were all individually trying to create their own music. They met at a local music festival where they were all performing solo. Struck by their similar vibe and musical taste, they decided to jam together, and that’s how “Icy Count” was born. Sharing a deep love for the cold, the icy wilderness of Alaska, and a common interest in progressive rock, they started creating music that was a unique blend of their diverse influences.

Testimonial:

“I’ve always been drawn to music that’s a little out of the ordinary. Something that doesn’t just fit into a neat genre box. That’s why Icy Count is my favorite band. Their progressive rock style is so unique, it’s like nothing I’ve ever heard before. Their lyrics are deep and meaningful, and there’s a certain raw emotion in their music. The song ‘Frozen Echoes’ holds a special place in my heart, it’s poetic and beautifully mirrors the frigid yet charming beauty of Alaska. As a fellow Alaskan, their music speaks to me on a deeper level. They’re truly the pride of our state.”
