Backstory:
Icy Earth was born in the chilly heart of Anchorage, Alaska during the summer of 2008. Founding members, lead vocalist Jayden Frost and drummer Chris ‘Blizzard’ Snow began their musical journey in their high school garage. Their unique sound, deeply influenced by the freezing landscapes of their home town, quickly gained popularity amongst locals. Their big break came in 2012 when their demo caught the ear of reputed music producer, Ethan ‘Iceberg’ Jones, who was captivated by their icy but emotional soundscapes.
Icy Earth has continued to evolve over the years, adding bassist Danny Hailstorm and keyboardist Lisa ‘Glacier’ Ice to their lineup. Their sound has matured, but they have always held onto their roots, capturing the raw beauty and harsh cold of their Alaskan home in every song they produce.

Title:
“Frostbitten Love”
Full Song Lyrics:
(Verse 1)
[C] Wrapped in a blanket [Am] of cold and despair,
[G] I see your shadow [D] everywhere.
[C] Our love was once a [Am] roaring fire,
[G] Now it’s just a [D] frostbitten desire.
(Chorus)
[F] Ice and snow, [C] where did our love go?
[G] Frozen in time, [D] lost in the echo.
[F] A frostbitten love, [C] cold and bare,
[G] Our hearts once ablaze, [D] now full of despair.
(Verse 2)
[C] Your touch used to [Am] melt my fears,
[G] Now it’s just shivers, [D] freezing tears.
[C] We were two flames [Am] burning bright,
[G] Now we’re just ice [D] in the night.
(Chorus)
[F] Ice and snow, [C] where did our love go?
[G] Frozen in time, [D] lost in the echo.
[F] A frostbitten love, [C] cold and bare,
[G] Our hearts once ablaze, [D] now full of despair.
Fan’s Name:
Fan’s name is Isaac ‘Igloo’ Brown. Isaac has been a fan of Icy Earth since their early days. His testimony says, “I remember the first time I heard Icy Earth. Their sound is like a chilling breeze that cuts right through you, yet it warms your soul. Their lyrics are raw and poetic. The icy imagery in their music always takes me back to the harsh but beautiful Alaskan winters. Icy Earth is my favorite band because they capture the essence of Alaska, my home, in their music. Their songs are my comfort during those long, lonely, winters.”
