Backstory:

Icy Entity emerged from the snowy stretches of Anchorage, Alaska, in the heart of winter, 2011. The founding members, lead vocalist and guitarist Neil Savage, bassist Rick Ashton, and drummer Mark Strummer, were childhood friends who navigated the harsh and isolated winters by retreating into the world of music. They spent hours molding their unique musical style in a makeshift soundproof garage, drawing inspiration from the natural beauty, harsh climate, and the spirit of resilience in their beloved hometown.

Their big break came during the 2014 Anchorage Folk Festival, where their original work captivated audiences. Overnight, Icy Entity became a local sensation, turning the band from a small-town act to a rapidly rising national sensation. The band’s unique sound and commitment to their roots have captivated fans across the globe, proving that music can indeed originate from the most unexpected of places.
