Backstory:
Born in the heart of Seattle, ‘Ignorant Notebook’ was formed when four college friends discovered their shared passion for music. What began as a hobby, jamming together in their dormitory quickly became a serious pursuit as they realized the unique sound they created. The band consists of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist, Rafe Simmons, lead guitarist, Danny Brixton, bassist, Toby Andrews, and drummer, Finn Henderson. They adopted the name ‘Ignorant Notebook’ as an ironic nod to the many hours they collectively spent doodling in their notebooks rather than paying attention to their college lectures.
Their journey to success was not a smooth one. After graduation, they took to performing at local pubs and clubs to a mostly indifferent audience. Despite the initial indifference and countless rejections, they never let their spirit waver. Their unwavering determination and love for music eventually paid off when they were noticed by a record executive during a live performance at a music festival.
