Backstory:

Illustrious Bottom was formed in the hazy backstreets of San Francisco during the early 2000’s. The group is composed of five friends, Jake (lead vocals and rhythm guitar), Mike (lead guitar), Carla (bass), Rita (drums), and Sam (keyboard). The band took its name from an old English pub they frequented. Known for their eclectic mix of music and charismatic performances, Illustrious Bottom quickly became a local sensation, drawing crowds eager for their energetic shows and distinctive sound.

Their big break came when they won an underground battle of the bands competition and got the opportunity to record their debut album. Their first album was a surprise hit, gaining them a dedicated fanbase and solidifying their reputation as a band to watch out for. Their eccentric sound, combined with insightful lyrics and infectious energy, has made Illustrious Bottom a staple of the alt-rock scene.
