Backstory:
Formed in the small college town of Bloomington, Indiana, Imaginative Head is a collaboration of four eclectic artists – lead singer Jake Morrison, guitarist Peter Sorenson, bassist Max Schultz, and drummer Sam Nielson. The band came together during their college years at Indiana University, where they met at a local music festival and bonded over their shared love for various music genres. Despite their diverse musical taste, the one thing they all agreed upon was the need to create something new and unique- a sound that transcended boundaries and resonated with audiences from all walks of life. Thus, Imaginative Head was born, breaking away from the conventional musical narrative and daring to experiment and innovate.

They began by performing in small local gigs and college parties, gradually making a name for themselves in the local music scene. The turning point came when they won the annual Battle of the Bands competition, gaining widespread recognition and catapulting themselves into the limelight. Since then, they have released three successful albums and toured across the country, gaining a loyal fan base along the way.
