Backstory:
Immense Trainer is a group of four friends from the sleepy coastal town of Newport, Rhode Island. The members, Jason (lead vocalist, guitar), Mike (drummer), Kevin (bassist), and Sam (keyboardist), all met in high school and bonded over their passion for music and their shared dream of making it big. Jason, the principal songwriter of the group, began writing songs about everyday struggles and triumphs, infused with stories from their small town. When the band won a local talent competition, they gained the much-needed confidence to pursue music full time, resulting in the creation of Immense Trainer. The name of the band is inspired by their high school gym teacher who they credit with teaching them the importance of resilience, determination, and teamwork.
