Backstory:
“Imperturbable Need” is a band formed in the small town of Binghamton, New York, in 2002 by childhood friends, Adam Thompson (vocals), Jake Rogers (bass), and Mike Douglas (drums). They were later joined by Sara Griffiths (keyboard) and Tom Reynolds (guitar) in 2005, fully completing the band. Initially, they were just a group of friends who loved to play music, but what started as a casual pastime soon became serious when they began writing their own songs. Their shared love for music and an imperturbable need to express their thoughts through it eventually led to the formation of “Imperturbable Need.”

The band originally played at local bars and events, earning a reputation for their unique sound and captivating performances. Their big break came in 2008 when they were signed by an indie record label after their performance at a music festival. Since then, they have released three studio albums and have gained a substantial fan following.
