Backstory:
Impolite Reality was formed in the busy streets of New York in 2011, the brainchild of four college friends rejected by the society for their unconventional ideas. They decided to turn their pain and frustration into music, turning the garage of an old apartment into their sanctuary. Comprised of lead vocalist and guitarist, Jason Matthews, drummer, Ryan Thompson, bassist, Andy Rodgers, and keyboardist, Mark Johnson, the band started performing in local clubs, slowly gaining fame due to their unfiltered lyrics and raw energy.
Their big break came when a viral YouTube video of their live performance caught the attention of a big record label. Overnight, they were catapulted from their small town roots to the national stage. Despite their success, they have stayed true to their name, continuing to deliver music that reflects the harsh and often impolite reality of life.

Title:
“Broken Mirrors”
Song Lyrics:
(Verse 1)
Am [C] I just another face in the crowd,
Or a [G] voice screaming loud?
In the [Em] mirror of life, I see my fears,
Broken [D] reflections and fallen tears.
(Chorus)
Broken [G] mirrors, shattered dreams,
Nothing [D] is quite as it seems.
In this [Em] impolite reality, we play,
With [C] truths to uncover every day.
(Verse 2)
I [C] look around, all I see is despair,
In a [G] world that barely cares.
We’re just [Em] players in a rigged game,
In this [D] reality with no name.
(Chorus)
Broken [G] mirrors, shattered dreams,
Nothing [D] is quite as it seems.
In this [Em] impolite reality, we play,
With [C] truths to uncover every day.
