Backstory:
Important Oxygen is an enigmatic ensemble that came together in the early 2000s, originating from the cluttered garage of a suburban neighborhood in Austin, Texas. Fueled by a shared love for music and a desire to make a difference, childhood friends Lucas McAllister (lead vocals and guitar) and Ryan “Ray” Jefferson (drums), along with Kathryn “Kitty” Simmons (bass and backup vocals), and Zachariah “Zack” Williams (lead guitar), formed the band in their high school years.
