Backstory:
Inconsequential Classroom started as a joke between four high school friends in a sleepy suburb of Seattle. In 2003, Jamie “Jazz Hands” Jansen, Ben “Bongo” Bradley, Lisa “Loud Lungs” Lovitz and Tim “Tambourine” Taylor, bored with their monotonous school routine, decided to channel their angst into music. What began as a fun project quickly became serious when their music teacher recognized their unique sound and encouraged them to participate in local talent programs. After winning several competitions in the region, they adopted the name Inconsequential Classroom, a name inspired by their shared disdain for traditional education.

Throughout college and beyond, they stayed together, using their music as a cathartic release and creative outlet. Their experiences, ranging from the pressures of adolescent life to heartbreak and existential introspection, have shaped their sound and lyrics. Today, they tour nationally, making music that resonates with young hearts and old souls alike.
