Backstory:
Indolent Need was formed in the gritty backstreets of New York City, in the summer of 2005. The founding members, lead vocalist/guitarist Eddie Stark and bassist Max Walker, met in a rundown bar where they both worked as bartenders. Their shared passion for music and mutual disdain for their day jobs quickly led to late-night jam sessions, which ultimately birthed the band. After recruiting drummer Jasper Hall and keyboardist Melinda Brooks, the quartet started honing their unique sound in the city’s underground music scene.
Their story is a testament to the power of perseverance and the pursuit of creative freedom. Fueled by their collective dissatisfaction with the monotony of daily life, Indolent Need has carved out their own space in the music industry, creating a sound that resonates with those who crave something real amidst the fabricated and the polished.

“Dancing on the Edge of Sanity”
Full Song Lyrics:
(Verse1)
[G] Waking up every morning, [D] feeling like a drone,
[Em] Lost in this chaotic world, [C] wandering alone.
[G] Searching for a purpose, [D] in the cold city light,
[Em] Guided only by the stars, [C] in the dead of the night.
(Chorus)
[D] Oh, we’re just dancing on the edge, [G] on the edge of sanity,
[Em] Trying to break free from this world’s [C] vanity.
[D] Yes, we’re spinning on the edge, [G] on the edge of reality,
[Em] Scream out loud, escape from this [C] brutality.
(Verse2)
[G] Can you feel the rhythm, [D] of our rebellious hearts?
[Em] Beating against the system, [C] tearing it apart.
[G] We’re the voice of the voiceless, [D] the song of the unsung,
[Em] This is our fight, [C] and it has just begun.
(Bridge)
[Am] We’re not dreamers, we’re believers,
[C] We won’t surrender, we’re the achievers.
(End)
[G] Keep on dancing, [D] keep on spinning,
[Em] Until we shatter this [C] glass ceiling.

Testimonial:
“Indolent Need isn’t just a band, they’re a beacon of hope. Their lyrics speak to me on a level nothing else does. They’re raw, real, and refreshingly honest. Their music has become the soundtrack to my life, a reminder that it’s okay to feel lost sometimes and that you don’t have to conform to the world’s standards to find your own happiness. And for that,
