Backstory:
Indolent Ticket was formed in the bustling heart of New York City, back in the spring of 2013, by four high school friends: lead vocalist Adrian Hart, guitarist Josh Fisher, bassist Nick Lowell, and drummer Sam Holden. All four of them had a shared love for music, with different influences from blues to punk rock, which they blended seamlessly to create their unique style. Over the years they began to make a name for themselves in the local club scene, attracting attention with their energetic live shows and heartfelt lyrics.
Despite various changes in their personal lives throughout the years, the band has managed to stay together, only growing stronger with time. Their bond with each other reflects in their music, making their songs feel more personal and genuine. With their first album ‘Idle Hours’ they gained a substantial following. But it was their sophomore album, ‘Passive Journey’ that catapulted them into the mainstream, gaining them both critical acclaim and commercial success.

Title:
‘On This Side of Paradise’
Full Song Lyrics:
(Verse 1)
Am – G – F – C
On the street, where we used to meet,
I still see your shadow on the concrete.
In the cafes, where we used to play,
We’d sit and dream our lives away.
(Chorus)
F – C – G – Am
On this side of Paradise, we saw no wrong, only right.
In the glow of city lights, we felt so alive.
On this side of Paradise, where dreams took flight,
In the silence of the night, we found our life.
(Verse 2)
Am – G – F – C
The city hums a familiar tune,
Reminiscent of our youth’s monsoon.
Skyscrapers high, graffiti low,
We left our mark, everywhere we’d go.
(Chorus)
F – C – G – Am
On this side of Paradise, where love was wild, life was nice.
Underneath the starlit skies, we were burning bright.
On this side of Paradise, no need for advice,
In the echoes of our laughter, we found our light.
