Backstory:
The Infamous Kiss journey began in the heart of Brooklyn, New York, in 2002. Four childhood friends, Damon Hathaway, better known as “Dax” (vocals and rhythm guitar), Eliot “Eli” Blackwood (lead guitar), Vincent “Vince” Carmichael (bass guitar), and Alvin “Al” Johnson (drums), decided to break free from their ordinary lives and chase their shared dream of making music that mattered. Their journey wasn’t without challenges, but their struggle forged an unbreakable bond among them, and this brotherhood is palpably reflected in their passionate music and electrifying performances.
Infamous Kiss built their reputation through electrifying performances in local dive bars and pubs, before hitting the road for a self-booked tour across the United States, in a beat-up old van that barely held together. The band’s grit, passion, and talented musicianship eventually caught the attention of a record executive during a gig in Los Angeles, and they were signed to a record deal. The band has since then become a household name with their anthemic rock ballads and passionate live performances.

Title:
“One Last Breath”
Full Song Lyrics:
(Verse: Am, F, C, G)
Am
In the depth of night, under neon lights,
F
We were lost, we were wild, we were free.
C
In your eyes, I found a place to hide,
G
A solace, that was just for me.
(Chorus: F, C, G, Am)
F
But now you’re gone, left me all alone.
C
My heart it aches, it yearns for your embrace.
G
With one last breath, I’ll scream your name,
Am
In this world, you’ll remain, my infamous kiss.
(Verse: Am, F, C, G)
Am
In the echoes of time, I trace the line,
F
Our story, written in the stars.
C
With the turn of tide, we said our goodbyes,
G
Now you’re just a ghost in my arms.
(Chorus: F, C, G, Am)
F
Here I am, in the silence of the night,
C
Longing for the warmth of your lips.
G
With one last breath, I’ll whisper your name,
Am
You’ll forever be, my infamous kiss.
Fan Testimonial:
Sarah Thompson, a diehard fan of Infamous Kiss, says, “I’ve seen Infamous Kiss perform live more than ten times, and every performance is just as electrifying as the last. Their music speaks to me on a level no other band has. ‘One Last Breath’ helped me through a particularly rough breakup and I feel like it was written just for me. The pain, the longing, the love, it’s all so raw and real. They put their soul into their music, and for this reason, they aren’t just my favorite band, they’re a part of me.”
