Backstory:

Infantile Plane, a band with roots firmly planted in the suburban landscapes of Austin, Texas, began its journey in 2006. Childhood friends, Mickey ‘Mick’ Johnson and Jonathan ‘Jono’ Mitchell, found a shared passion for music during their high school years. Both were avid fans of punk rock and alternative music, bonding over the likes of Nirvana, Green Day, and Foo Fighters. The duo started off with garage jam sessions, eventually forming the core of Infantile Plane, playing at local gigs and school festivals.

As their reputation grew, they enlisted the talents of drummer, Casey Smith and bassist, Paula Marks. The quartet, with its unique mesh of personalities and music styles, started to develop a distinct sound, blending the raw energy of punk with the powerful narratives of alternative rock. Their path towards mainstream recognition was not without challenges, including a few lineup changes, and struggles with maintaining a consistent recording label. However, through their tenacity, the band managed to carve a niche for themselves in the music world, gaining a dedicated fan following.
