Backstory:

Inferior Role was born in the seedy underbelly of Los Angeles in the early 2010s, a time when the music scene yearned for a fresh yet nostalgic sound. The band was formed by five friends – Billy, Todd, Rachel, Lisa, and Max – who were disillusioned by the glamorous facade of Hollywood and yearned to express their frustration through music. Together, they channelled their shared struggles and desires into a unique sound that would soon gain them a cult following and eventually mainstream success.

They started off performing in small, dingy clubs around Los Angeles, playing to small crowds and honing their sound. After a few years of grinding, their unapologetic authenticity caught the attention of a local record producer. He saw in them a raw musical talent combined with a captivating, rebellious spirit. The band was signed to a record deal, and their journey to stardom officially began.
