Insignificant Timing

Backstory:

Insignificant Timing was born in the vibrant streets of San Francisco back in 2012. The group members consisted of childhood friends, Sam “Blues” Jefferson on vocals and guitar, David “Dewey” Jackson on bass, and Michael “Sticks” Johnson on drums. All vastly different in their musical tastes, they blended these influences to create a unique sound. They started by playing in small venues, moving from dive bars to music festivals, and slowly but surely, the band gained a reputation for their wild performances and unique sound.

Insignificant Timing was not just a band; they were a symbol of friendship, struggle, and the perseverance of staying true to oneself. They were known to experiment with their music, never sticking to a particular style but moving fluidly from one genre to another, bringing forward an energy that was contagious. Their journey was not always easy, but the bond they shared and the undying love for music helped them overcome all obstacles.

Title:

‘Silhouette of Yesterday’

Full Song Lyrics:

(Verse 1)
[G] Staring at the [D] silhouette of [Em] yesterday,
[C] Wandering through the [G] shadows of our [D] disarray,
[G] We were once [D] invincible, in our [Em] youthful daze,
[C] But now we’re lost, [G] in the maze of [D] better days.

(Chorus)
[G] Oh, the times we [D] had, the love we [Em] lost,
[C] The dreams we [G] shared, at a [D] tremendous cost,
[G] We’re just echoes [D] of a song, in the [Em] grand cosmic play,
[C] Insignificant Timing, [G] that’s our [D] name.

(Verse 2)
[G] Frail and fragile, [D] like a [Em] porcelain doll,
[C] We’re just dancing [G] to the [D] rhythm of the fall,
[G] The melody of life, [D] it’s a soulful [Em] sway,
[C] Insignificant Timing, [G] we’ve lost [D] our way.

(Chorus)
[G] To the rhythm of [D] life, we’ll find our [Em] place,
[C] Amidst the chaos, [G] we’ll find [D] grace,
[G] For we are more, [D] than mere [Em] clay,
[C] Insignificant Timing, [G] that’s what [D] we say.
