Backstory:
Insistent Directive is a band that was formed in the bustling, eclectic city of Seattle, Washington in 2015. The band’s members consist of high school pals, lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Mitch Connor, lead guitarist Liam Blake, bassist Alex Chase, and drummer Tim D’Amico who bonded over their shared love for rock music and their desire to make a change in the world. They started out by playing in school talent shows and at local bars and quickly gained a following for their energetic performances and thought-provoking lyrics. Their popularity soared after they won a local Battle of the Bands competition and were given the opportunity to open for a well-known rock band. This exposure led to them being signed by a major record label.
