Backstory:
Instructive Admission is an ensemble that emerged from the underground music scene of Nashville, Tennessee. The band’s core members, singer-guitarist John McKenzie, bassist Sarah Lane, and drummer Alex Monroe, met during their high school years and shared a mutual passion for music that was outside the traditional country genre that their city is renowned for.
