Backstory:

Formed in the heart of New York City in the year 2007, ‘Insubstantial Touch’ was born out of the friendship and shared musical ambitions of college roommates, Aaron Brooks (lead vocalist) and Daniel McCoy (guitarist). The duo quickly expanded to include drummer Mickey Harris, bass guitarist Steve Thornton, and keyboardist Jamie O’Connell. The band started off playing small gigs around the city before earning a spot at the legendary CBGB’s. Their unique sound attracted the attention of indie music label, ‘Sonic Voyager’, which quickly signed them up. Over the years, ‘Insubstantial Touch’ has grown to become a force to be reckoned with in the indie music scene, renowned for their profound lyrics, talent for storytelling, and ability to explore the depth of human emotions through their music.
