Backstory:
Born in the vibrant and eclectic streets of San Francisco, Jagged Food was formed in the fall of 2010 by four college friends, all with a shared passion for music and culinary arts. The bandmates, lead vocalist and guitarist Noah, bassist Alex, drummer Sam, and keyboardist Brian, spent their free time experimenting with different genres of music as well as various types of cuisine. The name Jagged Food was inspired by their adventurous culinary experiments. They used to joke around that their unconventional cooking styles and food presentations were as jagged as their music.
The band’s unique sound evolved through jamming and experimenting with their instruments in the shared kitchen of their college apartment. Their fusion of music and culinary passion was something that was reflected in their lyrics and sound, creating a unique vibe that set them apart from other bands. Their journey was not without its bumps, but their deep bond and shared passion for music and food helped them stay together and grow from strength to strength.

Song Title:
“Salt and Sound”
Song Lyrics:
(Verse 1)
Am| You took the spice, from my life, oh darling
Dm| Like sugar dissolving into the wine
E| You left an aftertaste, bittersweet and lasting
Am| Now I’m craving for your love divine
(Chorus)
Am| Through the salt and sound, we lost what we found
Dm| But I’ll still cook up a storm, hoping you’ll come around
E| In our Jagged Food, and our rhythm so crude
Am| We’ll find the recipe, for love unbound
(Verse 2)
Am| You flooded my senses, like the aroma of brewing coffee
Dm| And now the kitchen echoes with your laughter’s rhyme
E| The taste of your kiss lingers, like the finest wine
Am| In the symphony of our love, let’s lose track of time
(Chorus)
Am| Through the salt and sound, we lost what we found
Dm| But I’ll still bake sweet treats, hoping your love is around
E| In our Jagged Food, and our rhythm so crude
Am| We’ll find the recipe, for love unbound
