Backstory:
Jam-Packed Front began as a casual jam session in the bustling city of Chicago among three friends, all musicians in different bands. After countless late-night sessions and mutual admiration for each other’s talents, they decided to form their own band. The name ‘Jam-Packed Front’ was chosen as a nod to their musical beginnings and signifies the eclectic mix of sounds, talent, and genres that the band packs into their performances. The band was formed in 2013 and comprises lead vocalist and guitarist Max “Mad Max” Harrison, bassist and backup vocalist James “Jazzy” Smith, and drummer Samuel “Smashing Sammy” Mitchell.

Jam-Packed Front is primarily a rock band. However, their music doesn’t strictly adhere to one genre, incorporating elements of funk, blues, and alternative rock in their sound. They are known for their energetic performances, elaborate guitar solos, and catchy, thought-provoking lyrics.
