Backstory:
“Jittery Construction” is a band that was formed in the heart of London during the late 90s, by four construction workers who discovered their musical talents during their downtime on the job. Johnny Smith, the lead vocalist, and his co-workers, bassist Tim Davis, drummer Mark Ellis, and guitarist Pete Miller started jamming in their work sheds. The band’s name was inspired by the vibrating feeling they’d experience after long hours of working with power tools. The very nature of their work lent a unique style to their music, making it hard to put them in a box.

Genre:
Jittery Construction’s sound is an innovative mix of blues and rock, resulting in a genre they like to call “construction rock.” Their music is defined by heavy, driving basslines, powerful, rhythmic drumming, and gritty, distorted guitar riffs, all underpinned by Smith’s raw, soulful vocals.
