Backstory:
Jovial Class came together in the bustling music scene of Austin, Texas, back in 2015. The four-piece band comprises of childhood friends: Luke “Hurricane” Harrison, the charismatic vocalist, “Slinky” Sal Martinez, the master of guitar riffs, Rob “Thunder” Thompson, the beat keeper on drums, and Jess “Smooth” Stevens, the melodious bassist. They found their common ground in the love of music, despite the dichotomy of their backgrounds – Luke’s love for classic rock, Sal’s fascination with blues, Rob’s passion for jazz, and Jess’s inclination towards folk. Jovial Class is best known for its unique soulful blend of these influences, creating a music style that’s distinctly their own.
