Judicious Salt

1. Backstory:
Judicious Salt was born on an impromptu jam session one snowy evening in a small town in Vermont in 2012. The four members: Jake “Judge” Miller (lead vocals), Sarah “Salt” Lawrence (drums/vocals), Marcus “Mars” Reynolds (bass/guitar), and Luna “Moon” Rogers (keyboard/vocals), were all independent artists who had moved to the town for its vibrant music scene. Their synergy was instant, and what started as a fun night quickly turned into an everyday affair. Their mutual love for music, coupled with the healthy respect they had for each other’s craft, earned them the name ‘Judicious Salt,’ a moniker symbolizing their wisdom in savoring the essence of music.

They began performing in local bars and cafes, quickly gaining a reputation for their unique sound. Word spread about this band that was unafraid to experiment, and in 2015, they were signed by an independent label. Their debut album, ‘Salty Wisdom,’ released in 2016, was a critical success, paving the way for their journey onto bigger stages and larger audiences.

2. Music Genre:

3. Song Title:
“Thyme After Time”

4. Full Song Lyrics:

(Verse 1)
In the garden of our love, we planted dreams,
Underneath the silver moon’s gentle gleam.
But winter came, and with it a frosty bite,
Our dreams wilted, under the harsh cold light.

(Chorus)
Thyme after time, we tried to sow,
Seeds of love, in places they wouldn’t grow.
Thyme after time, we held on tight,
In our garden of dreams, under the moonlight.

(Verse 2)
The petals of our love, once vibrant and pure,
Lost their color, couldn’t endure.
We tried to save, what was left unnamed,
But it wasn’t the same, our garden was tamed.

(Chorus)
Thyme after time, we tried to mend,
Our garden of dreams, to make it bloom again.
Thyme after time, we felt the blight,
In our hearts, under the moon’s cold light.

(Bridge)
With judicious salt, we seasoned our wounds,
Hoping to heal, under an empathetic moon.
But love is not a garden, it can’t be regrown,
Once it’s lost, it’s forever gone.

(Chorus)
Thyme after time, we learned to let go,
Of dreams that wouldn’t bloom, of love that wouldn’t grow.
Thyme after time, under the moon’s cold light,
We found peace, in the quiet of the night.
