Backstory:
Jumpy Settlement arose from the quaint, sleepy town of Aspen Springs, Colorado. The founding members—Benji “Blue” Harmon, a quirky ukulele enthusiast, Carter “CJ” Jenkins, an unwavering bassist, and Poppy “Pixie” Hawthorne, a dreamy-eyed singer-songwriter—were childhood friends. They bonded over the love of music and outdoor adventures, often finding inspiration in the haunting beauty of Aspen Springs’ landscapes. Initially, they started playing for their supportive community, garnering praise and encouragement, which led to them recording their first EP in Blue’s basement. Their raw, heartfelt music quickly gained traction, propelling them from their local scene to national venues.

Jumpy Settlement’s favorite fan is a woman named Lily Bennett, an art teacher from Boulder. Lily first discovered their music during a particularly challenging time in her life.
