Backstory:
Emerging from the vibrant Chicago indie scene in the early 2010s, Lasting Snail comprises four college roommates turned musicians; lead singer and guitarist Adam Sterling, bassist Francis “Franky” Jones, drummer Luca Rossi, and keyboardist Emily Chen. They began by playing small gigs around college, drawing inspiration from their shared passion for 80s alternative rock and contemporary indie sound. Their name Lasting Snail came from a joke about their initial slow progress in the music world and their determination to stay in it for the long haul.
