Late Sheep

Backstory:
The band Late Sheep was formed in early 2010 in the grand city of Austin, Texas. The founding members, Michael Taylor (lead vocals, guitar), Sarah Johnson (drums), and Isaac Wells (bass), were all college friends who shared a mutual love for music and a dream of starting a band. After several years of playing gigs in local bars and pubs, they landed a recording contract with an independent label. Their unique sound, full of grit and soul, quickly caught the ears of listeners and they began to gain a larger following.

In 2015, the addition of talented keyboardist, Julie Carter, added a new dimension to their sound, allowing Late Sheep to experiment and break into uncharted musical territories. Their journey hasn’t been without its challenges, but their love for music and their unwavering dedication to their craft have kept them pushing forward.

Title:
“Running Out of Time”

Full Song Lyrics:

(Verse 1)
[G] There’s a clock [Em] on the wall,
[G] But it’s running [Em] slow,
[G] We’re like a late sheep [D],
[Em] We’ve got nowhere [G]to go.

(Chorus)
[D] Running out of time,
[G] With you on my mind,
[Em] As the sun begins to decline,
[G] I just wish I could rewind.

(Verse 2)
[G] Our hearts beat in [Em] sync,
[G] But the world’s out [Em] of tune,
[G] I’d color the moon [D],
[Em] Just to get back [G] to you.

(Chorus)
[D] We’re running out of time,
[G] With shadows that intertwine,
[Em] As the stars start to align,
[G] I just wish you were still mine.

Testimonial: “Late Sheep is my favorite band because they’re not afraid to be real. Their music speaks on a deep, personal level and it feels like they’re singing my life. Their song ‘Running Out of Time’ helped me through a tough breakup. The raw emotions and heartfelt lyrics were a kind of solace during that period. Their music is not just songs, it’s therapy. They’re talented musicians, but more importantly, they’re genuine people who care about their fans. As a fan, there’s nothing more you can ask for.”
