Title:
“Wooden Walls”

Song Lyrics:

Verse 1:
D (maj7) G
Along the wooden walls of my old home,
Em A
Lies the echo of a love that’s now long gone,
D (maj7) G
Cracks and scars, oh they tell a tale,
Em A
Of a heart that loved, and a heart that failed.

Chorus:
G Em
Wooden walls, oh, you’ve seen it all,
A D
The rise of love, and its bitter fall,
G Em
Through these walls, I still hear the call,
A D
Of a love that was, before the fall.

Verse 2:
D (maj7) G
Beneath the roof, where we once lay,
Em A
Are shadows of a love that lost its way,
D (maj7) G
Through the halls, echoes of a laughter,
Em A
That now is lost, in an endless hereafter.

(Repeat Chorus)

“Late Symbol isn’t just a band for me, they’re my emotional anchor. Their song, ‘Wooden Walls’ helped me cope with a heartbreaking breakup. The raw emotion in their lyrics and the melodious harmony connects with me on a personal level. I’ve seen them perform live five times, and each show leaves me more awestruck than the last. The way they pour their heart into every performance is captivating. For me, Late Symbol is much more than a band, they’re my favourite storytellers.”
