Backstory:
Leading Stream was born in the small town of Newcastle, England, in the late 2000s. The band consists of a group of five friends – frontman Alex Turner, guitarist Jamie Cook, bassist Nick O’Malley, drummer Matt Helders, and keyboardist Andy Nicholson. The lads were initially consumed by their love for football until they discovered their shared passion for music. They started out playing in their garages and small local gigs, taking inspiration from their hometown’s history and the mundane life of their youth. After spending relentless hours honing their skills and developing their sound, they managed to catch the attention of some record labels with their raw talent and unique lyrical style.
Over the years, with their hard work and dedication, Leading Stream has turned from a small town band into an international phenomenon, selling millions of records worldwide. Their focus on the music and not the fame has won them respect in the industry and garnered them a dedicated fan base.
