1. Backstory:

Leafy Tool started as a humble duo in the idyllic town of Ashford, Vermont. Childhood friends, Liam “Leaf” Green and Timothy “Tool” Donovan, always felt a deep connection to music and nature. From their early days of strumming guitars on the porch, surrounded by the lush greenery of their hometown, they developed a unique sound unlike anything on the charts. Their music was a harmonious blend of everything they loved—nature, nostalgia, and a dash of rebellion.

In 2014, they decided it was time to take their music to the next level. They packed their bags and guitars and moved to Los Angeles, the city of dreams. After a few tough years of playing in small bars, their breakthrough came when they were signed by Indie label, GreenVine Records. Their debut album “Emerald Echoes” caught the attention of the indie folk scene, and ever since, they’ve been on an upward trajectory.
