Backstory:
Lean Fishing emerged from the eclectic music scene of Bristol, England in 2012. The band was formed by the eclectic duo of bassist Tom “Tuna” Thompson and keyboardist Harry “Halibut” Hepburn, who met while they were both working at a local fish market. Their shared love of music and fishing soon led them to create a unique sound, blending elements of rock, pop, and folk with lyrics inspired by their experiences at sea.
After gaining a local following, Lean Fishing was discovered by a major record label while playing at an underground gig. They have since released three studio albums, toured extensively, and gained a loyal fan base around the world. Despite their success, the band remains grounded. They still find time to go fishing together, drawing inspiration from the sea and their shared experiences.
