Backstory:
Legitimate Cinema was formed in the vibrant and music-filled streets of Austin, Texas, back in 2008. At the helm of this musical endeavor were childhood friends Ricky Dawson and Gil Carson. Having shared a passionate love for music since their early teens, they decided to bring their unique sounds to life. After a few years of experimenting with their style and sound, they finally found their groove – a melodic blend of folk and indie rock, with a sprinkle of electronica. The addition of Faye Kellerman on bass and Adam Walsh on drums in 2012 completed the lineup and brought a new depth to their music.
