Legitimate Server

Backstory:
Legitimate Server was formed in the bustling city of San Francisco in the mid-2000s. Named after a peculiar term they encountered in their day jobs as IT consultants, the band members – lead vocalist Tony ‘Tone’ Davis, bassist Sylvia ‘Sly’ Martinez, drummer Mike ‘Hard Drive’ Harris, and guitarist Richie ‘Router’ Rodriguez – found solace in crafting music after hours. Their shared love for music and a mutual desire to escape the monotony of their nine-to-five grinds led them to create something entirely unique to their experiences. Over the years, they’ve navigated band practice in cramped apartments, late-night recording sessions, and countless gigs in small, smoky clubs to become a favorite among local music aficionados.

“Firewall Fractures”

Full song lyrics:
(Verse 1)
[Am] Incandescent screens, [G] a world unseen, [F] hand on the keys, [C] in our machine.
[Am] Silicon dreams, [G] in code we trust, [F] lost in the wires, [C] a world of dust.

(Chorus)
[Am] Firewall fractures, [G] data streams,
[F] Binary love, [C] silicon dreams,
[Am] Lost in the grid, [G] finding our worth,
[F] Here on the edge, [C] of digital birth.

(Verse 2)
[Am] Monotone days, [G] midnight oils burn, [F] craving the rays, [C] for the sun we yearn.
[Am] From the server’s hum, [G] a symphony grows, [F] playing our drum, [C] as the data flows.

(Chorus)
[Am] Firewall fractures, [G] data streams,
[F] Binary love, [C] silicon dreams,
[Am] Lost in the grid, [G] finding our worth,
[F] Here on the edge, [C] of digital birth.

Our favorite fan has to be Jenna Thompson. She discovered our music on an underground indie forum and has been sharing our songs with everyone she knows. She’s shown up at nearly every gig we’ve played within a hundred-mile radius and has been an invaluable supporter.

Jenna’s Testimonial:
“Legitimate Server isn’t just a band to me, it’s a comfort, an escape. Their music speaks to my own experiences – the isolation and the grind of the digital age. But even amidst the sometimes melancholic lyrics, they always manage to infuse a sense of hope. Their performances are electrifying – you can see and feel the passion they pour into their music. I can’t imagine a world without their tunes!”
