Backstory:
Lighthearted Hip was formed in the vibrant city of Austin, Texas, when lead vocalist and guitarist, Sam “Sunny” Henderson, met drummer, Max “Jazz” Rogers, at a local music festival in 2012. Both were solo performers at the time, but they quickly found a shared passion for creating music that sparks joy and genuine connection. They were soon joined by bassist, Emily “Bassline” Ortiz, a talented musician they met during one of their jam sessions at a local bar. The trio instantly clicked and began their journey as Lighthearted Hip.
Their debut album “Joy In The Moment” was a hit in the indie music scene. They were celebrated for their ability to blend elements of pop, rock, and folk while retaining a distinct sound that was uniquely their own. The band’s uplifting lyrics, infectious energy, and innovative music quickly earned them a loyal fanbase.
