Backstory:
Linear Design is a creative force that emerged from the urban landscape of Boston, Massachusetts in 2014. The band consists of four college friends: lead vocalist and guitarist Ethan Ford, bassist Jeremy Collins, drummer Max Richardson, and keyboardist Rebecca Walker. They were all studying different subjects (from architecture to computer science), but shared a common passion for music. Linear Design was born in a basement jamming session, where they began creating music that reflected their diverse backgrounds and interests. The band prides itself on its innovative and artistic approach towards music, mirroring the cohesive blend of their academic disciplines.
The band gained local recognition by playing in small venues, coffee shops, and college events. Their breakthrough came when they won a local battle of the bands competition, catching the attention of a record label scout. This opportunity led to their debut album, “Blueprints of Sound,” which achieved critical acclaim. Now, Linear Design tours widely, sharing their unique sound with enthusiastic audiences across the nation.
