Backstory:
Lined Scent was founded in 2012 by lead vocalist and guitar player, Ezra Watson, who had spent the previous years working as a sound engineer in a small recording studio in Portland. As he toiled away with other musicians, he found himself constantly writing his own material, developing a unique sound that was too compelling to be left unheard. With his own arsenal of songs, Watson teamed up with bassist Lily Turner and drummer Max Beckett, both seasoned musicians in the Portland indie scene, and Lined Scent was born. The band captured their city’s heart with intimate local shows before their debut album, “Serenade of Solitude,” made them an international sensation in 2014.
