Backstory:
Lone Trick is a band that emerged from the small town of Middletown, Ohio in 2012. It all started when lead vocalist and guitarist, Jake Sullivan, decided to turn his passion for music into a professional pursuit. He linked up with his old school friends- drummer Ethan Mills, bassist Ryan Smith and keyboardist Lydia Matthews. The name ‘Lone Trick’ symbolizes their single-minded dedication to music and their united ambition to create a unique sound that resonates with people.

Despite the lack of a vibrant music scene in their hometown, Lone Trick managed to garner a loyal fanbase by performing in local bars and music festivals. Their talent didn’t go unnoticed; they caught the eye of record producer, Toby Hanson, during a local gig in 2015. Hanson got them signed to the label ‘Midnight Records’ and from there, the band’s music journey took a significant upturn.
